Let’s start by clarifying the situation towards the fake and legit prohormones
Legit prohormone : A legit prohormone is determined by the fact it’s contains a real pro steroid ingredient. Simple as that, you pay for a product that will give you the results it says…
Fake prohormone (First case) : Some supplements are sold “like” if they were prohormones because they want to make you think that while they are clearly not. To find this, simply look at the ingredient info of the supplement and make a search on google, you should find infos if this is or not a real prohormone.
Fake prohormone (Second case) : Many prohormones that were really popular in the past are now banned. From that reason, some people decided to make fake prohormones so people can still buy them in the hope of good results. This case concerns mainly the fake superdrol (m drol) prohormones but also Halodrol, Epistane, Havoc…
Useful guide to determine if your m-drol is fake or legit (good for pretty much all possible fake prohormones)
Please note that CEL did change of companies for the bottling of his products over the years : there is a possibility to have different labels and pill sizes. There is also a possibility to have the same batch (lot) number and exp date on two different kind of bottles.
2013 – 2014 Note : my suggestion is to not buy any CEL prohormones same if they’re coming from a good seller on ebay/amazon.
1. The design look of a legit and fake m-drol superdrol prohormone
Notice the difference between the size the fake and legit m-drol ? Look also at the colors. While this is not a 100% working trick to determine if your prohormone is fake but this prove a difference with the original one.
2. Various indicators (Size of pills, seal protection, cotton foam)
Alike the design, it’s not a 100% accurate trick to determine if a legit or fake m-drol but it will help you out.
3. The expiration date

Let’s start with an important fact : Competitive Edge Labs (CEL) stopped the production of his M-drol late 2010 (or early 2011) as well as their other prohormones. Moreover, M-Drol (Superdrol) is a banned prohormone in the USA since August 2012
Real and legit M-drol (H-drol, etc.) can have an expiration date of 2013 but… Expiration dates were never printed ! Never. They were stamped on the bottles on the side. So if you see an exp date of 2014, of 2015 or even 2013 but its not stamped, there is 99% chances it’s fake.
4. The ultimate test
The best to know if you have a legit or fake m-drol or h-drol is to take it. If you have great results, it’s the real stuff. If not, it’s either mostly a fake or a bad batch…

Hey I was wondering if there is such thing as a fake prohormone for anabolic technologies (extreme mass) ???
I've never heard about a fake xtreme mass prohormone.

However, Xtreme Mass by Anabolic Technologies has been produced under two formulas. One contained Superdrol and the new one (legal as of 2014) has MethylStenbolone in it. This is maybe why some people thought about a fake xtreme mass.

Where did you buy your H-Drol ? I'm pretty sure it's a fake h-drol competitive edge labs (cel) because the company don't produce any prohormones since many years ago (2011 if my memories are good). It's impossible to have a 2017 expiration date on it.

Where did you bought your bottles of RPN Havoc ? Predator Nutrition for example explicitly says on their product page that there is no expiry date.

If bought somewhere else, it's about 95% sure that it's fake havoc.

I bought a bottle of xcel's dragon's blood compared it to a legit bottle and the labels clearly copied and bottle is a little bit darker has alcohol smell but kinda different I think it's fake.

I can't tell you if it's fake or not since I've never had any experience with xcel prohormones. I've searched on forums but found nothing. My suggestion is to get a refund and if you can't, maybe you can try the prohormone to find if it's legit or not.
They were plastic sealed with the writing. Did have a protection lid but fell away fairly easy. It also had cotton. Pills look very large and the odur does not match the "rotten egg" Sulphur smell that people say. I was told that there is no expiration date due to they aren't aloud to make them anymore, and that this would protect them by leaving batch numbers and expiration dates off.
Any thoughts ?

If you can get a refund, do it and get an other epistane-havoc clone prohormone. This way, you're 100% sure to have real stuff.

The firsts rpn havoc on the market had batch numbers and expiry dates and also rotten eg/sulphur smell. Those ones were legit !
I've not tried the new rpn havoc (no expiration date) on the market so I can't tell much. The best way is to try them if you can't have a refund.
hey, i recently bought some cel hdrol but ive been seeing some varying claims about authenticity. It had the seal, inner seal, cotton and the smell. But where are the dates supposed to be printed? On the side or the bottom of the bottle. Mine says LOT #54297 EXP. 06/2013 on the bottom of the bottle. I have had another bottle that says the same on the side of the bottle maybe a slightly different date 08/2013 i believe cant remember.

Hey, I bought a bottle of finaflex 1-alpha off of ebay from a reputable seller however, I think it might be fake due to a different color wrapping around the bottle neck, a loose fitting inner seal and a different smell to it than the other bottle i had. Have you heard of fakes floating around, or could they just have changed their manufacturing process a little? Any help/advice would be great!

got a bottle of reign from the company darkcyde gotten off ebay post ban and just not sure how to tell if it is fake or not ..... ingredents on label look legit (4-chloro-17a-methyl-androst-1, 4-dien 3-17b-diol
) 25mg and (2a, 17a dimethyl-etiocholan-3-one, 17b-ol) 15 mg no lot number and no exp date on bottle .. plz help
What is the next best thing that is the closes to M-Drol that I can get?
MethylStenbolone (M-Sten) and Dymethazine (DMZ) prohormones have similar chemical structure to the old M-Drol. They also produce similar results.
Now, if you want really good results, you should check out Methyl-1-Alpha prohormones like Alpha-1 MAX from Blackstone Labs. This prohormone is very powerful (it converts to M1T!!)
