What is a Prohormone ?
How do prohormones work ? A prohormone is pretty much always the inactive form of an anabolic steroid. When you take a prohormone like that, your body absorbs it during the enzymatic process (digestion) and then it becomes somewhat available in the active form of the anabolic steroid. Some other prohormones are just direct anabolic steroids that are not prohibited within the US.
Prohormones became very popular among bodybuilders mainly for three reasons :
- no legal problems (you can buy them in bodybuilding supplements shops)
- they produce low side effects (with proper protections)
- you get great effects and results : increases strength, muscle size and growth, reduces recovery time between training, decreases body fat level, gives you the availability to get lean mass, etc.
How to do a Prohormone Cycle ?
Before doing a prohormone cycle, you need to know a few information about them.
First, you need to pick the right prohormone to start with. We created informative pages on prohormones called "Prohormones Profiles" where you can find the effects, dosage recommended, protection and post cycle therapy (PCT) needed, etc. for each prohormone ! Check out this link : Read our Prohormones Profiles.
You also need to know information about the post cycle therapy (PCT) or the over-the-counter post cycle therapy (OTC PCT) depending on your situation. Basically, this part of your prohormone cycle is used to protect you against strong side effects you can have after doing a cycle. Check out these links : Post Cycle Therapy Information and OTC PCT Information
Moreover, we also created informative pages about the cycle support supplements you can use for a prohormone. These ones can be very important to avoid liver problems for example when you're taking a methylated prohormone. Check out this link : Cycle Support Information
